Egypt Pilgrimage Cost Details

• The cost of the Egypt Pilgrimage is $4,300, which includes the Spiritual Contribution to CDM and payments to the tour company (for double-occupancy)

  • The Spiritual Contribution to CDM is $1,000

  • The tour company cost per pilgrim is $3,300 for double-occupancy and is paid directly to the tour company in USD

  • Single-occupancy rooms are available for an additional charge of $985 (single rooms may not be available on the cruise portion of the pilgrimage)
    

• An optional extension to the Red Sea is available for an additional ~$500 for double-occupancy (some single-occupancy rooms are available for an additional charge of $120), with these payments being made by pilgrims directly to the tour company in USD
  

• Not included: airfare & travel insurance, personal incidentals, optional adventures & extensions, meals not listed as included, and gratuities/tips

  • You will be sent an email with details on how to make this payment

  • Note: we are finding that major banks such as Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo do send funds to Egypt… some other institutions such as PayPal, Wise, and smaller banks have not sent funds… please check with your financial institution to find out more… also, do not use Western Union

  • Deposit Schedule

    • A deposit of 25% ($825 in USD plus wire fees) is due upon registration

    • The next deposit of 25% ($825 in USD plus wire fees) is due by July 5th, 2025

    • Another deposit of 35% ($1,155 in USD plus wire fees) is due by September 5th, 2025

    • The Final Balance of ~15% is due at the start of the pilgrimage (this will likely be in the $500 USD range) [this final payment will be adjusted to ensure the total payment is correct (e.g. covering unpaid wire fees)]
      

• Additional information

  • The Spiritual Contribution is non-refundable

  • The tour company cancellation fees are as follows:

    • Before June 5th, 2025 - no cancellation fees (i.e. fully-refundable)

    • Before July 5th, 2025 - cancellation fees are 5% of the total

    • Before August 5th, 2025 - cancellation fees are 10% of the total

    • Before September 5th, 2025 - cancellation fees are 25% of the total

    • Before September 15th, 2025 - cancellation fees are 50% of the total

    • Before September 22nd, 2025 - cancellation fees are 75% of the total

    • On or after September 22nd, 2025 - cancellation fees are 100% of the total

    • After July 5th, 2025, pilgrims may replace their spot with someone else for a $100 charge
